Remote Location Work

Filming Cape Fur Seals in South Africa

Filming Cape Fur Seals in South Africa

Recent global events have meant that the necessity for local or remote work is more important than ever, as such we’re seeing the resurgence of ‘the local cameraman’. As the impact of climate change and the carbon footprint of global travel puts more pressure on productions, using locals is more important than ever.

I have set myself up to be able to offer remote location work from bases in Cape Town and Faial Island in the Azores - two global epicentres of underwater filming.

Working closely with production companies I can offer sequence ideas, help with the permitting process and then shooting remotely on location - occasionally using some of the new software technologies that aid in remote directing.

Please get in touch for to discuss potential collaborations of this nature.
